The Academy was founded in 2012, born from the excitement and energy of the Overground Underground Festival. Since then, we have been dedicated to teaching and inspiring local young people to embrace the sport of climbing.
Over the years, we’ve introduced countless children to the world of climbing, helping them develop skills, confidence, and a love for adventure. Many of those who started with us as kids are now young adults, venturing out independently to explore the crags and pursue their own climbing journeys.
We’re proud to have played a part in fostering a community where climbing is more than just a sport—it’s a lifelong passion and a gateway to outdoor adventure.
